Mr. Christo Joseph is the Director of Strategy and Planning at Garden City University and a trustee of the Garden City Education Trust. He is an author, a startup investor, and a higher education researcher. He graduated from London Metropolitan University and holds a Master’s Degree in Education Management from King’s College London (KCL). He is currently a Research Scholar in the Education Department at Lancaster University. His research interests include student motivation, fun with online teaching, and student choices in higher education. He is an alumnus of the Indian Institute of Management – Bangalore, having pursued his Executive Education there.

He has been elected as an Associate of King’s College London (AKC), a prestigious title awarded to individuals who have made significant contributions to the academic or professional community affiliated with King’s College London. He has also been chosen as a member of the Harvard Business Review Advisory Council, where he contributes his insights on global business trends and education. He is a Fellow of the prestigious Royal Society of Arts & Commerce (FRSA), England, which has only 28,000 members worldwide. He is the winner of the Anglo – Sino London Rising Star Enterprise Challenge at the House of Lords, presided over by Lord Wi of Shoreditch. Additionally, he is a member of the British-South India Chambers of Commerce.

WORKS

He works closely with the office of the Honorary Consul of the Republic of the Maldives in Bangalore and is actively involved with the Bangalore Public Affairs Centre CCI, engaging with policymakers in the government. As a regular speaker at conferences and education summits, he shares his insights and research findings, including publications in Springer Publication, with the most recent one being “Institutional Social Responsibility in Higher Learning Institution.”

Mr. Christo Joseph’s dedication to integrating technology into higher education is evident through his numerous articles, blogs, and regular engagement with the global teaching community. His significant contribution to the field includes authoring the book “Bring Fun to Online Teaching”. His mission in life is to serve in the higher education space in India and to build quality educational institutions that can compete on a world stage. He has also taken up a Rural School Development Initiative in Hoskote, rural Bangalore, focusing on improving quality education access in rural areas.
